Ending with a bang!

We just got back from an amazing weekend trip!! We were in Inverness, Cape Breton, and it was gorgeous! The sky was cloudless, the ocean warm (at least not freezing cold!) and the air was hot! We spent the whole day at the beach on Saturday, I got a nice tan. Kali and Rufus ran around like maniacs and even went for a swim! We had a bonfire on the beach on Friday night and the only bad thing about it was that an ember burned my finger, but the salt water the next day fixed it right up! Everyone there was in such a good mood and we told stories and joked around until the early morning. I am so happy we got to go away before we start school. This year is going to be a challenge and a major test for our relationship. But we have been through so much already that this is easy compared to other stuff!!! I am just going to miss seeing Ken for dinner the days he can't make it...but we'll manage. So all in all our summer was fantastic! We couldn't have asked for anything greater!
