We finally have our sweet baby girl home from the hospital! After 16 days in the NICU the doctor's decided that Maddie was ready to go home! she had been off the monitors and was breastfeeding really well for almost a week when they moved her to Transitional care. We were only there for 4 days, two of which I spent the night and she breastfed all her feedings. This amazed the doctor's as for her age they didn't expect her to be doing so well. She is such a little superstar!!! So now we have been home for a week and doing great! She is gaining weight really well, she weighs 5 and a half pounds and gaining by the day.
Ken and I are doing good too. We love being parents and learning all about Maddie! She is so cute and already has such a personality!
I have lots of pictures to share, but will have to post them later as she is ready to eat now!
