A few months ago, I was contacted by a PR rep for Maureen Healy founder of Growing Happy Kids. Maureen has written a new book that is due to be released in early April and she wondered if I would be interested in reading an advanced copy and hosting a review/giveaway. I am usually one to shy away from reviews/giveaways, mostly because I never really intended to use my blog for that sort of thing, but mostly because it's beyond my comfort zone. But that's the thing about comfort zones, sometimes they aren't really comforting, but are just ties we use to hold us back from growing, from trying new things, from learning and from finding out what we are capable of.
So I took a look at the Growing Happy Kids website to learn more and I knew in my heart that this would be a wonderful opportunity! I emailed back with a resounding yes! And I'm so glad I did. Spoiler alert: the book is amazing and you are gonna want to read it too!

I received that same request. They sent me the digital copy of the book, I responded that I liked it, and then I heard nothing back.
ReplyDeleteBut I agree, it's a really good book, written in simple language with lots of steps to follow and practical examples.
