It was my birthday on Sunday. The big ol 3-0!!! My hubby planned a party for me on Saturday and invited my close friends. It was a nice little gathering. My Mama made a delicious and beautiful cake! On Sunday we spent the day at home, and my Mama made me another cake (my favorite!!!). I was totally pampered!

Happy birthday Kat! So glad you were spoiled! I have to ask, what's the decoration on top of cake 1? It looks like crisps from here! (Which I'm doubting it is!)
ReplyDeleteMy mom made petals out of dried pineapple slices...I'm telling you it was a fancy schmancy cake all made from scratch!
DeleteHappy birthday! Looks like you had a lovely day! I can relate with the broken glass, there has been plenty of that in my house since Jesse started walking ;)
ReplyDeleteHappy, happy 30th! Those cakes look yummy — what's in them?
ReplyDeleteNumber one was a gluten-free chocolate cake with cream cheese icing, decorated with blackberries and dried pineapple slices. Number two was a gluten-free jelly roll, topped with chocolate icing and walnuts. OMG I'm drooling just remembering how good they were!
DeleteThanks ladies! It was a great birthday!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday!! The first cake looks so delicious!! I love picture of Isaac copying his Dad! Those sort of pictures are my favorite! :)
